I don't go to the movies or anything other than entertainment.

'Based On A True Story' is, after all, a pretty ragged brush to paint history with.

True, but as a bit of a history buff, it kinda pisses me off when they do that, espicially in this case when they seem to want to mess up facts for political reasonings.

Hi. Welcome to the 21st Century. It must be your first day here.

    >hands off orientation kit, replete with several thousand hours of George W. Bush speeches<

You might want to brush up on this.

Yeah, yeah, it's the idealist in me. Still pisses me off either way.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
Thanks Monk I got a total imagine of Mrs Lovejoy saying "think of the children" from the Simpsons.

I would be willing to lay money that most of us are idealists or cynics who got that way as disappointed idealists?
We would all love for some AUTHORITY to put things right and give the bastards a good kicking for all the crap they have pulled.
And they call Superman wish fulfilment. We have been really really lucky in Canada for a long time as far as having a very
liberal government. Heck our centre right party is named the Liberal Party. I am starting to really dislike the elitist liberals
like Sorkin. The ones who were all for the iraq war when it started or did not have the guts to come out against the patriot act.
They are just as bad for stealing our rights as the right wing. You have free speech so long as it is not "hate speech", whats" Hate speech"?
Well we define it so it is anything we don't want you to say.
