God help us all. Live from bloody England, it's Monday fucking Morning.

So what's going on with you today?

I dreampt I had to steal a box of (Americone Dream) icecream, indiana jones style, from a grocery store, fight off a bunch of people in halloween costumes, and swing on a rope hanging from a helicopter in a tribal village. I woke up, realized I have no icecream, its raining out, and its monday.Sometime later today my brain will catch up to me. Probably after coffee.

Today, I purge my office of clutter.

By 4:00 I will either have a clean office, or will be hiding in the corner under a pile of broken keyboards.

I woke up late, missed the usual workout. To cap it off, I've left my headphones and mp3 player in the car. Only good thing is today is short school day.

However, Scott Beiser was twittering about "Warren bitching about waking up before noon", which I read as "Warren bitching about wanking up before noon"..... it Tuesday yet?

(did not need the mental picture; I've lost brain cells)

My tea isn't adequately waking me up. I may need to move on to feasting upon the warm and viscous blood of a customer if this lethargy keeps up. My goals for the day include spending far too long making paper cutout Halloween decorations for the store, and stealing time to write a poem or two instead of updating 2007's backlogged receipt files. YEHAW MONDAY.

It's Monday. I woke up late and had to rush to get ready, which always make the rest of the day somewhat "off". I really don't want to be at work today (or most any other day honestly). Sigh.

My mother-in-law's been in a retirement home for almost three years, and last Saturday morning took a turn for the worse. She's had Alzheimers for some time now, and for the last year hasn't been more than a shell anyway. She's stopped eating and drinking, she's just on oxygen, and all anybody will tell us is it's a matter of time. My wife took the day off today to be with her. I think that's more for her own comfort and peace of mind. Her autistic son has called her work, her cel phone, and finally home, from school because he's starting to obsess over his grandma's condition. I tried to re-direct him into some positive thoughts, but I'm sure it just sounded like I was just paying him lip-service. On top of all that, Monday is my only day off of the week so I have to find the energy and motivation to do something about all the goddamn leaves that have fallen in my yard.

It's 11 am and I am checking email and running some numbers in my head. Seem like the economic downturn has a major effect in the Custom-made Costuming Industry in the States. I had about 22 costuming related questions per day last year, during this same time, and so far for the past 8 days I've answered a total of 12 emails relating to costuming. I guess a number of kids in the states will be trick-or-treating with white sheets over the heads because their parents are too broke (or overworked, or both) to make their kids cool costumes this year. I like the down time, it's rare for me this time of a year, but then again it's scary. Who would have thought economic factors would keep people from doing arts and crafts, you would think it would have the opposite effect in fact. :P

    Monday Monday.

Red Bull. Class. Whitechapel. Feeds. Looking for apartments for the move to Indiana. I think I finished my second issue (of four) for plot and dialogue, but still have to flesh it into a full script. Might do that later today. At the very least, I'll be looking at notes, maybe revising.

Since my official day is done, I have a lot of time to kill for "work" that I will likely never be paid for.

I woke up with a bad case of "the mondays" this morning.
It's almost noon now in Philadelphia. Slept through my alarm this morning and was almost late for my first class. There should be a law, no classes that start at 8 a.m. Got to school, and i think some bastard switched out the regular coffee with decaf, because i'm struggling to stay awake. Now i just learned that i'm having a mid-term exam on Friday, so I'll be studying for that in the next two days. Luckily i have nothing going on for Tue and Wed. Would somebody speed up time for me so this week could be over soon?

I slept four hours and someone keeps dialing my phone from their pocket, unaware of it. My girlfriend got a huge shiner in rugby that was lucky not to be a broken cheekbone. I have a disquieting fear in my belly for no good reason. I never used to be paranoid. I'm wondering what triggered it.

Ever read "The Philadelphia" by David Ives? Philadelphias are karmic phenomena that alter your personal universe and reverse all of your meanings. If you say one thing, you get the exact opposite.

Getting done articles for "FlashINK", the first ever tattoo magazine in Singapore, which my sister-in-law and myself have started. Photo shoots start this week and am very much looking forward to that.

felt like i slept for ten minutes, but it was seven hours. im fully rested, but have this sinking feeling that ive lost something i cant find find. its weird. this week is work/errands/work/blah/work/final crisis/ work/ hardcore show/car stuff/girlfriends birthday. also, she was supposed to have yet another surgery today, but her platelet counts were too low so its cancelled. this sucks- i just wanted to be done with it. she is always sick with something, and its extrememly straining. each surgery i am always hoping will do some serious good, and it only does a little.

i hate that i cant fix everything.

Had a long, tiring weekend of work, and an early day today to get a new on-line project ready and, well, on-line by 9am today.
But it's up and the bosses are happy...sadly, I have to do the whole thing all over again next weekend, and the weekend after that.

Got preview passes to see Clint Eastwood/J.M.S' newest film tonight, so I'll going to take the girlfriend out for the first time in ages.
    looking forward to that....

I get to write three election articles today and then feed them to an editor for appropriate mutilation before we go to print Wednesday. One of the bastard candidates did not get back to me for an interview, despite repeated harassment. Oh, and then I have to start harassing more people for my next article. I feel cranky.

    And panicked.

I slept in today and am missing two classes.
Mid-term tomorrow worth 40% of my final.
    May go back to sleep.

I have to dress up as Indiana Jones nearly every day this week, for my job.
