    Good morning everyone. Lovely installment.

I can't make a judgement on Kait yet, since we've barely met her. Jack is still my favorite. As for her being crazy, we have only seen the surface, Arkady is still crazier, for now. I like Kait's concept, look forward to seeing where it goes. Beautiful work Paul, that's all I can say, thank you.

My week has been a blur, since I took time off from work, days bleeding into one another. Right now I'm scrambling to finish up my halloween costume, we'll see how that goes. Wish me luck in not bleeding on the fake fur.

The more we read Freakangels, the more it seems Warren'sbest piece. This episode is so finely written, and I love each portrait, the texture of them, the choice of materials, folded paper, as in a mise-en-abyme.
And, so funny, the hats off to a fish called Wanda (or is it?)
I'm frakkin hooked (well I've been for a while, but it's confirmed every week)

the portraits are awesome. Also a nice way to reinforce each character and their traits. can't wait for the last couple.

I should be able to remember which FreakAngel is which by the end of next week then.

Spent half the day in a hospital other than the one I usually work at, with my wife being poked and prodded while they decided whether to induce labour or not. In the end they sent us home. I'm on the guest list for Cypress Hill tomorrow, but judging by the way my wife said she didn't mind if I went, I'm guessing it's not in my best interests to go.

This is a fantastic episode. The art is mind blowing. I can't wait for the rest of character rundowns, feel like they should be on a police station board in a cop show with yarn connecting them and one piece with a big question mark. Week has been hellish. I am nearly over this nasty flu thing that I got last thursday. I had a review session today and my professor brought homemade cookies and they were delicious! Only 2 more midterm exams to go then back to class as usual.

OH MY GOD, IT'S ALREADY FRIDAY EVENING IN THE CENTRAL TIME ZONE OF AMERICA! That means in England it's ... (let's see, counting the zones ... they're ahead over there ... 2, 3, 4 ...) next Tuesday, I think.

Anyway, I've been so occupied with my day job and personal web projects that I completely forgot to check out the new Freakangels episode this morning (and I've been off the Twitter, so I missed Warren's usual weekly reminder). So, here at the day job, with R.E.M. on the headphones, I'm getting caught up.

All of the Freakangels chapters have been excellent, but today we're into goosebumps territory. What a great way to recap the characters. Being a TV fan of my age, I had a flashback to Jim Phelps on the old "Mission: Impossible" series, sitting in his classy apartment living room, flipping through the dossiers of the various members of the Impossible Missions Force, the serious Lalo Schifrin score drumming in the background.

(Which gives me a thought: Is there Music to Read Freakangels By?)

My week has spun my brain on a lathe of frantic desperation, whittling it from a sturdy plank to the thinnest of toothpicks. One of the chores at my day job is to moderate our community forums, and I can only wish that our boards enjoyed the level of intelligent participation as do the Whitechapel boards. At their craziest, the Whitechapel discussions cannot even pretend to match the scope of juvenile anarchy I grapple with on a daily basis on our forums. I reside in a Republican stronghold here in the Bible Belt of the southern U.S., and with the election only a couple of weeks away, the cacophony of the forums is ... I'm too tired and fried to come up with another analogy; go back and re-use the lathe thing.

Thanks again to all involved at Freakangels HQ for guiding me back down that soothing road to sanity.

As in, his hands become extremely sticky and he seems to have quite a few of them to go around, if you catch my drift.

I really don't have anything groundbreaking to add to the conversation. This is my first time checking out FreakAngels and checking out the website. Just saying hi. Great stuff from Warren as usual.

I already LOVE Kait! I can just imagine her voice :)

Friday was my birthday. Best way to turn 27 is to wake up to a face full of FreakAngels :)

Urgh..Brilliant, the pacing is superb and Paul's artwork just keeps getting better and better, the colours are getting richer, the contrasts starker with the falling of dusk and the frikking details to the buildings, e.g. page 4, is just bloomin' awesome!!

    Sirkka looks so sad.

I was a zombie today, my boyfriend is moving in with me and I now have a Wii.

    Yay, me!

@sigridellis: We have the same work week. What do you do?

Friday's portraits were a great way to end two days of reading the entire comic-so-far. I don't know what took me so damned long. I'm completely addicted and can't wait for the next installment.

I've been reading pretty much every week since the series started thanks to the Bad Signal notifications but, for whatever odd reason, this was the episode where the whole world opened up for me. Something about the meeting with Kaitlyn (the last of the ensemble we meet until whenever the wanderer turns up: am I right?) they all fell into place, as was intended I suppose.

Kaitlyn in particular impressed me. She's got presence, which is as much a credit to Paul Duffield as Warren's dialouge, and it's a presence based on the impression of stillness she has in relation to the others. Her expression and such.

So this is my favourite episode so far. Nice!
