This is a well designed site Ariana but is there any way to clear closed threads off your "With Me" section yet?

No, and won't be. The With Me tab is simply all the discussions you've participated in.

since we have so many monthly threads now, maybe there'd be some justification in putting in a "monthly" category?
    just an idea.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but will there be a private message function in the future?

Nope. Too much potential for abuse.

Question: Is WC searchable by search bots (google et al)?

Question: Is WC searchable by search bots (google et al)?

Yeah, I see whitechapel in google search results pretty routinely.

Question: Is WC searchable by search bots (google et al)?
With varying degrees of success. It's not optimized for google searching, so there are some holes and glitches. For some reason, the google blog search turns up more accurate hits than a general google search.

I quoted someone but it didn't work the way it was supposed to. It's a tag reserved to admin and moderators, or did I do something wrong?

There are two little radio buttons at the bottom of the input panel -- if you want to use html (like the blockquote tag) you need to make sure the "html" button is ticked.

    Thanx, got it.

    Hi,
    Question/s:
How come I can't see the image I upload(well link to) straight away (or 20 minutes later) when I post?
but can see other people's images the minute the page updates?
Am I using the tags wrong?
Do I need to put .jpg after the URL?
    Is santa real?

You're linking the flickr page, not the actual image. The url of an image will end in jpg, gif, png, etc. Right click on the image and select "copy image location" -- that's the url you use.

I'm planning to debut my web comic this coming Weds. Can I post a heads-up thread in Printheads or Art and Pictures? Or nowhere at all? I don't wanna get my ass kicked for jumping the gun or anything.

Is there any way the Outside World thread can be split/made monthly? I love it but it is overwhelming and my browser tends to choke and die after a few pages of catching up.
  5.  (4.217)
I always forget to do that...

Is there a change in the header banner? There appears to be a lighter gray bar that I *swear* wasn't there before. It starts left of the 'Whitechapel' graphic.

Edited to say I'm running Safari on a Mac.

... nuh uh. Is there a change in your setup?
  7.  (4.220)
Nope - but it might just mean that I've never noticed it before (for I am fairly dumb).
