Nope - but it might just mean that I've never noticed it before (for I am fairly dumb).
Maybe stop hitting the O2 tanks when the caffeine wears off...? Hehe.

The O2 is for use after climbing the stairs.

The nitrous oxide is for the long lonely nightshifts.

I don't take nitrous, I like it too much. There is proof...

That's... not really something I can help with, Von. It sounds like the problem's with your mobile (probably cookie-related), not with Whitechapel.

@Ariana, ta 4 responding to my plea. Will have a gander at cookies. I love W/C and your quick response has made an old anarchist happy. Tony. West London

Ariana - I can't log in from the blogs tab; I get this error:

Notice: Undefined index: CssClass in /home/freakangels/public_html/whitechapel/themes/people_banner.php on line 5

With nothing on the page besides the banner, sorta.

No problems logging in from the main page - is this just a quirk? (and it's not the first time it's happened)

Regarding occasional errors: This happens about a hundred times a day on every site you visit, you just usually don't see it because error codes redirect to a failwhale page, or are hidden so that they only show up in secret site logs. I should really do the same, so that when things momentarily quirk, people just wouldn't notice and would refresh until it's all good again. But it makes my life much easier to be able to see errors when they pop instead of constantly monitoring quiet logs, so you all get to be frightened villagers sometimes when arcane symbols appear in the sky over the castle.

Today feels like I'm in Heavenside.....

Thank you for answering the question.

hmm, clicking on the "Newest User"'s name on the sidebar just takes me to my account.

    It does that to everyone.

@warrenellis: Shouldn't it take us to the newest user's account? That seems logical.

My last post in the Saturday Night thread time-jumped an hour into the past (and thereby into the midst of the old posts) when I posted it. Why? Is this a clocks-changing in America thing?

Something's been bugging me for a while now and I'm finally going to post about it. When I first showed up here, I remember that there were 50 posts to a page and I rather liked it that way. Made reading a single page in a thread something long and epic. Some time ago, it switched to 20 posts in a page. That or I stopped deluding myself. Is there any way to adjust this back to 50? Can our generous hosts please explain why it changed? (Or who changed my meds?)

Edit: For clarification, I don't mean adjust it for the board. I'm just thinking a personal view setting.

That works, too. Thanks, Ariana. Now to REAL discussions that don't really matter!

Hey there, I'm new to all of this and badly need help with posting photos etc... please excuse my ignorance outside of photoshop I'm a moron. Is there anywhere in particular I can get all the info I need to use this wonderful forum properly, or should I just get my lazy ass into gear and do a bit of investigating? Cheers.
  8.  (4.238)
Okay. First off, is your photo on the web somewhere? Make sure it's not stored on Blogger -- Blogger doesn't allow crossposts.

Then you check the Html button in your reply box, and then type

    <img src="http://www.thisistheaddressofmy picture.jpg">

(provided it IS a jpg and not a gif or png)

And when you press post it should magically appear, provided the host isn't blocking it or you haven't set it to private)

From the man himself, kindly appreciated. Is there no way to download photo's straight from my computer? I'm fine with ripping them from existing places; just a querie? Anyway, thankx for your time, I know you have little to spare- on which, does time move slower for you, or have you cloned yourself, or am I just lucky enough to be a fan of an author who really is capable of your workload? Silly question. Basically just Thankx. What you do makes a difference!!!!

<em>Is there no way to download photo's straight from my computer?</em>

No, because the internet does not recognise your computer as a web page. You'll have to send them to a hosting site like Flickr.
