    @briancj: That is an awesome Edison Carter costume. I tried to do something similar years back, but it basically amounted to walking around in a trench coat and a nametag that said "Edison Carter." No one knew who that was. Sigh.

    I'm saying to hell with it and going High Goth this year. Got a new skirt from Kambriel and some fancy dreadfalls -- if I can ever figure out how to attach them to my dreads. Of course, this also means battling my nemesis liquid eyeliner again...I like the look but it usually takes a lot of trial and error (and Q-Tips) to get it right.

    Pics to follow. And if anyone happens to be in Austin, apparently the Zombie Marching Band reaches Elysium around 10PM.

    Threw a party last weekend, will probably revisit the costume tonight. That's me in the middle as Mr. Orange from Reservoir Dogs. Best pic I have of the costume, also best pic of the state I was in at that point in the night (though it may appear the contrary, those two are not actually holding me up!)

    Well, I guess my costume from last year is a bit of dead give away, considering my name (those that know video games should at least know who I am.... those who play the good games, that is. tee hee.)

    I threw it together last mintue, but I was recognized, so I guess that counts.

    This is the one I just finished hand sewing for my daughter to wera tonight.

    as you can see, she isnt as thrilled with it as I am. Hard to see, but there is green felt in the shape of bills sticking from the top of her bag.

      Not too different from my work clothes, frankly. The general consensus was that the hi-tops were what made the look.
