The thing I love about it is how the Internet is used as a storytelling medium instead of simply a method of distribution. I wonder if anyone else has done anything like this.

I think there must be a lot of websites like this, but mostly done as student projects and not propagated enough or hosted long enough to be noticed much. Have a friend who wrote a fantastic book that linked up with a website as her graduate school entrance thingy, but it was just before House came out, and there were too many connections for her to feel that it would get proper attention, so she tanked it after it was graded.
