I'm still trying to figure out what the apocalypse was. It can't just be melting the ice-caps because that wouldn't have even touched the biggest players in any post-apocalyptic scenario - the Swiss -

Always enjoyed "end of the world" stories. I've never been to Whitechapel (haven't been in England since I was 10), but I'm guessing this WAS a busy mixed commercial district before the apocalypse?
And throwing in these great historical place references makes it even better... I love the artwork
