I had never realized that WordPress didn't let you install third-party themes (including your own). Blogger doesn't have that restriction, but on the other hand, it's harder to deal with Blogger ...

I too have a wordpress blog, and I am a huge pile of shit with CSS, HTML and anything involving coding. Fortunately, I liked one of the third-party themes.

here and haven't come across this distinction. There are things that are annoying in that they're badly documented. It took me forever to figure out how to insert youtube embed code without it breaking my [downloaded] theme's layout, (a pre tag that tells wordpess not to format the text.) I think wordpress.com blogs have a plugin or back end that uses a usage like [youtube=http://linkembed.com]. looks like you win some and you loose some. great software generally though.]]>
