    Anyone organising or otherwise participating in any events in the USA between now and then? Gigs, parties, exhibitions, shows, weird gatherings, whatever.

    I know I should've probably broken this down by region, but fuckit...

    NONE?

    I'm TRYING, man, but I'm in between release parties right now. If I get moving quickly enough, Whiskey and I invite you all to join us in our celebration.

    Here we go. A cheap event for New Yorkers. The theater company I belong to will be holding a monthly reading series. For $10, you get a reading, live music and some drink specials.

    Barefoot Theatre

    I'm running lights for an intense production out of Little Red Studio (which is an erotic art space). It's about obsessive love, and man, this shit is dark. Despite seeing each piece over and over again during hell week, each part *still* gives me chills. It opens this Saturday and happens again on December 13th. It's well worth the $30 to get in. http://LittleRedStudioSeattle.com

    Acrobatics, aerials, tango, dessert, and even some dancing (I also helped with the music).

    I'll be in the light booth in a corset. How I get up there is another problem..

    The Huntington Theatre Company, a professional theatre company in residence at Boston University, presents

    Tom Stoppard's (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Brazil, Arcadia, Shakespeare in Love) newest play, chronicling 22 years of revolution and rock and roll in England and Czechoslavkia. For anyone who had seen/heard of it while it was in London or on Broadway, this is an even newer version of the script.

    @Thom Dunn,
    I came into this thread thinking, there won't be anything in Boston, I'll have to see all the cool shit people in LA, NYC and London get to do. I'll have to come out and see this. Hvan't been to the theater in too long and this is down the street from me, awesome.

    I'd love to see Steve play, it sounds like he does such interesting stuff.

    @Ferburton, thank you. Shesha is a development from my Ouroboros project, which is me doing the liveloopsampleprocess thing to audio input from a mic dropped into the bottom of a tuba played by my friend David. Both projects have been rewarding for the three of us to work together on.

    I'll be visiting Indiana near Christmas, and so will be doing an H+ meeting in Bloomington on the 21st of December at the Runcible Spoon. I'll make a seperate post about it after exact time and topic are decided on. Kevin from Grinding and Matt (alephnought) will be joining, and are cool cats to know regardless.

    Are there any Whitechaplains in, er, Cleveland?

    I'll be back in the hometown for a week around Christmastime, and would consider having drinks with the internet. La Cave? Someone suggest a night?

    Ray Stevenson star of HBO's Rome and the upcoming Punisher War Zone will be at The Comic Outpost in San Francisco this Sunday (11/23) from 2pm to 3pm. If you're in the area stop on by!

    I have to give it up to Lions Gate for promoting a Comic Movie in a Comic shop. Novel idea, and especially glad they picked me. Hopefully they will do more of this in the future (ahem Marvel/Paramount) and spread the love to other stores. Galactus knows we need it.

    Cheers!

    Anyone in NYC going to Blip Festival?

    A friend of mine who plays 8-bit music went last year and said it was pretty good. I go to all his shows and I love the scene.

    @Glukkake

    I'm going to try. I live pretty close to the Bell House, and this would be an excellent reason to check it out.

    @Glukkake
    I might be there that Saturday and check it out

    Lovely! I'll most certainly be there Saturday, possibly Friday if I can afford it or if someone is playing that I have to see. Wish the schedule would be updated already...

    Other than the thing in San Fran, which I already missed, anything in the bay area, CA? It seems most of the Whitechapel meet/drink-ups are too far for me. Comic/book/theatre related events would be awesome.
