Very good, and I'm also happy to see that this time Gianluca's name is on the cover. He surely deserves it. Good to see that Avatar's getting better pencilers. The only one I still honestly dislike is the Doktor Sleepless' one.
Count me in! This both sounds and looks absolutely fantastic. Thanks for the preview my friend! It's almost worth having 4 jobs when this is the kind of stuff I get to enjoy in my off hours (when I'm not trying to finish my own book lol)
As everyone has said, fantastic pencils. I don't much envy the inker who has to try and add to that image. I'm happy it's a planned first arc of (hopefully) many. That seems to make a lot of sense both for Avatar and for such a demanding art style. (And for those sad, few readers still waiting for the end of the PKD arc of Desolation Jones.*)
*I know, I know... not blaming anyone - I just like to put the series name down in writing ever so often. Let it reverberate around the web.
For those travelling inna or outta San Francisco International:
Terminal 3, concourse leading to the 80-90 gates, has a droolworthy exhibit of elderly space toys. Ray guns, robots, space ships, board games, bubblegum cards.
Ho ! Sweet that's something I just heard of because of the news on you blog Warren, will definately check it out. Will be the first serie I WILL pick up on a monthly basis, you other work I discovered through trades. twas only a year ago that I didn't even know who Warren Ellis was so everyhting I picked up was in trade form.
