I don't know whether to be chuffed or deeply disturbed that Mr Ellis' taste in music resonates so much with me! The 4 am is always interesting, often gob smackingly amazing. So, anyway, ta.
It's a good mix. The tracks by Holoscene/NAVEL4EVE/60 Watt Kid flow together really well, though I like them all. Nice descriptions, too. When I read them, I want to like the things that Warren likes.
@Ariana - indeed, a gem. And the PB's had me snorting tea out my nose. Must be one of the nest choruses ever - as soon as son n heir recovers from his new year debauchery I'm going to play it at full volume!
The first track was sent to me as a 112kbps mono track. The software I use to combine the mp3s only recognises minimum 128k stereo tracks. So I had to monkey with it quite extensively in Audacity to get it into a form MakeItOne could use, which is why there's some channel oddness...
It's understandable. For some reason makes it feel sorta like my head's heavier on that one side that it plays on for some reason. An interesting sensation to be sure.
Liked this a lot, and have to heap praise on the Poxy Boggards as well. Not sure if I'd the song so much outside of the mix, but as a 'beers in the air' rock song it was a nice, and amusing, wake up call after the more immersive stuff. I will now spend the rest of the week telling my friends to 'drink motherfucker, drink!' at innapropriate times.
