No Turkey Holocaust for me. Us convicts had to work away as normal on a friday. And what a damn day. Glad to have the week over -- final week of the month is always hell trying to close off contracts for the books.
yay week over. FA. sorted. thought this week was going to be a nightmare. i was promised avalanche of work. never happened. but i was on edge all week. might happen next week, but i disappear mid-week for a week's holiday, so i can't really care!
@Lazarus99 My thoughts were more like "Children of the Damned all growed up... WATCHTHEFUCK OUT!"
bad things are gonna happen to whoever launched that mortar. I really hope Alice isn't some sort of mind wiped spy or living avatar for Mark. I guess the rest of the FA would notice something like that cuz they've been inside her head so much.
My guess is they'll find a couple of mooks with instructions implanted in their subconcious, kinda like Alice was.
Something along the lines of "Plant the mortar at position X and angle Y, then fire it. If anyone who looks like me tries to stop you, blow their head off"
Page 4 would make a fine computer wallpaper... or perhaps a poster. I'm glad I'm not the only one who immediately thought "Children of the Damned".
No horrible holiday stories I'm afraid. Had a touch of snow overnight down at my mother-in-laws, the roads in Colorado Springs were crap (black ice all over the place) but the highways were fine, and no snow fell up here in Denver so.... all in all, no complaints.
Are you guys suggesting that the Freakangels aren't Children of the Damned? Seems to me that they *did* manage to take of the world, as children, in a way. Hmm...
My week has gone nuts. Huge disconnect at work between what is being asked of everyone and what is actually possible. I've seen this before, but on freelance projects where once it ends, people move on to other projects.... I'm curious to see how things pan out here where there is no end.....
