   Here's my jab at the Capt. I thought of a more modern Doc Savage modern pirate. Unfortunately, my ability is trumped by my imagination. But there is a cybernetic monkey that no modern pirate should be without. Enjoy??!!

   Can't say that I've seen a whole lot of Davis' stuff, but thank you for the comparison. He's a true pro.
   
   And the only people who can draw shit are the people who actually sit down and draw shit all the time. You've probably had a lot more fun doing whatever it is that you do instead of draw shit. Haha

   I'm really liking the design details in the supplemental enemy art, particularly in picturing that light bulb lighting up while that robot talks, ha.

    Tried to backtrack my mind on how I ended up with this....
    I think the contradiction between "pirate" and "justice" made me wonder what kind of sick pervertion was behind that man. And then the enormus Titanic Tower was too much of a fallos symbol...

    Had another crack at the character and his robotic parrot Midge, this time in action against mutated man-spiders. Again, forgive sloppy lines and the lack of a background (although in this darkness there wouldn't be much of a background anyway), but it was drawn with a mouse on Macromedia Flash 8. I must fix my bloody scanner.
