Winter has set in. I have morphed into my alternate persona of 1930s aviatrix. complete with flying jacket, white scarf, and fabulous boots. the outfit underneath varies, but tends to be scarily period without me meaning to. i blame current fashion.

@burntcopper Sounds like an excellent reason for winter to exist. If only it make its way out here to Sunny California.

Seriously, it's December and it was sunny today. This is bizarre, even for here.

    Mah eye!

    Mah face!

I have called this one "self-portrait with t00bs". What am I laughing at? Is there a kitten doing odd things in the closet? Have I discovered Mysterious Things amongst my toes? Only I know for certain.

Getting compliments in the Self Portrait Imagethread is really among the best kind of compliments, because I know you all have impeccable taste! ^_^ Thanks Oda, Kate, razrangel, Vanessa, Gabrielle. I was toe-curlingly delighted that you guys like my new do.

Raye, I've laid down the dare. I dare you to do your hair crazier. Then we all win.

Katrina, I bleached it a week ago, let it rest for a week, and re-bleached it before putting in the colour. Not counting the first bleaching session, it took about three and a half hours to do!

I promise there will be a serious black and white pic soon. Now there is only webcam, weird thing growing out of my ear and no hope at all.

I adore people's hair this round.

Again, neglecting the face. I've been getting about 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night, and I look like hell.

    So, for self-portraiture:
I had to move with little to no notice in a 3 day span. Today is day three - painting and remnants and fish rescue.
Everything I own fits into a tidy 5x5 storage space. Mostly books and comics.
I am not the things I own.

Also don't know where most of my bruises come from. a) parkour b) rushed moving or c) unspeakable things
This one is particularly charming, across my left outer thigh. Wish I had a better camera so you could get the full color effect. Some in the office think I'm in a violent relationship. Protesting this just verifies it in their minds. Considering throwing myself at a doorknob for the sake of dark humor.

Vanessa, I will flex for you. Promise.

Oh hey, is that more coffee?

I am sick of my hair

You cannot see my hair here, which is good, because I am sick of it and cannot wait to cut it off (damn promising myself to let is grow a whole year, only one month left).

This probably isn't news to anyone whose been on here longer than me, but God damn - Whitechapel has some attractive members.

@rainbowblight - oooo, pretty hair. my problem is i never do anything with mine due to having the self-maintenance motivation of a small marmoset.
