    @Elena...

    So I tried fuchsia today, and you know what happened? Nothing. Not a thing. Its even the hair color thats supposed to show up in the darkest hair... LIES! I have nothing to show for it except a streak where my bangs fell across my face and the color refused to be removed.

    I guess Ill have to hit up Hot Topic and white it out first. Freaking Sad day.

    @ PaulGrahamRaven they're synthetic, so I can't take too much credit ;)

    @burntcopper there's always wigs and hair/dread falls, an infinite amount of variation and just a fraction of the time to style ;)

    @Hylian Hearts if you have virgin hair it's not going to take the color unless you're blond. Bleach is definitely the way to go (make sure to condition the bejesus out of it afterward) Also I can tell you from years of dying my hair that so far the best brand for bright crazy colors is special effects. Stay away from Manicpanic, the colors are tempting but the quality varies (sometimes it's just that the store has been carrying it so long that the dye no longer works) The darker the color and the lighter your hair, the more likely it will stay and reds tend to last the longest.

    Never had luck with manic panic or Special FX. Both washed out too quickly (I did the special effects blood red and everything I wore was quickly turned pink. I myself was oink for a month.) bleaching my hair does not work. Dying my hair blonde does not work. Im hoping Hot topics White out will at least my my hair a lighter brown. I have very dark hair and so my choices are limited. I once did streaks with the L'oreil Color Rays. The red was fine, but it faded quickly and left me copper. The Fuchsia didnt do a damn thing, though the box promises to show up even in the darkest hair. My hair just hates me. We have been at war since the day I was born. *sigh*

    My first comment was moments ago in the introduce myself thread. I am furthering that here I reckon. I am wasting time towards an afternoon deadline of a completed portfolio. My major is intense, and starts off with a thing we call summer option. 9 weeks of grueling drawing tasks. This is me at my worst still trying to maintain a sunny disposition. Also pictured: Diet Sun Drop, it's my vice.

    It is a citrus soda based off of orange juice concentrate. It reminds me vaguely of Mello Yello and Kick. Mixes well with whiskey.

    Edit: I usually say: "Imagine the best feeling in the world, this is Diet Sun Drop in my mouth"
