japan has a thing with putting colonel sanders in costume, virtually every KFC i walked past had a statue of him outside dressed up in weird shit. shogun sanders was in nara, there was another one in kyoto where he was holding a firecracker and had a frilly apron and a giant lobster hat and another one in tokyo where he was in a weird sherlock holmes-esque costume. it was pretty sweet. -
