Ha ha. I guess I was really sheltered and coming from that and being shoved into the real world made me a bit thick in the head.

    @Gekko

I love the reverse on the mug theme! Lol.

Ah, don't wish you were 18 again. Enjoy who you are where you are.
I would not want to be the person who I was at 18 again, even if I was thinner

    Cara Japan
Here I am at 18 during one of two summers that I was fortunate enough to spend in Japan with my parents.

    as we're sharing, here's me at 19:
    red hair

and at 17, when I was figuring out I was 'weird':

(edit: holy god that was huge)

Both images were taken by my brother.

It's to everyone's great benefit that I have no photos of me at eighteen in digital form. Principally of benefit to me, though.

Cameras hadn't been invented when I was 18. And I can't post cave drawings here. Ha ha.

I'm laughing on the outside but I'm crying inside.

    I don't miss being eighteen.

Wait a second, I am eighteen. Shit.

This happens to be the oldest picture of me I can find on the tube since I canceled the myspace. Probably eighteen or nineteen. Not quite sure.

Yeah. Not growing me molester-stache again.

The more I think about this the happier I am that cameras weren't invented in the mid 70s. Otherwise there might be a picture buried away somewhere of me in purple plaftform shoes, purple flares and a tight purple jumper. Just thinking about it is bringing me out in a cold sweat.

The Glam Rock years - having your youthful sexuality defined by brickies in spandex and make up. It wasn't all David Bowie round here then, let me tell you.

    wow, progressions are always interesting.

digging hard, I found a picture of me on my 15th birthday on an exe's flickr: (that's me in the glasses, center-left, sitting)
    15th birthday

then another picture at 17, featuring my increasingly out-of-control hair with the same girl:
    junior year homecoming

    finally this christmas my hair:
    my hair, a little tangled

    got a little shorter:
    very short hair

Me, at 13, flipping someone off in Malibu. Some things just don't change.

OK, OK, I cave into pressure as far as is possible. This is me aged about eight (in Saudi Arabia, for the geography loons):

THE EIGHTIES WERE A TERRIBLE TIME FOR SHORTS OH GOD YES THEY WERE

Those are the sort of shorts that you look back upon after puberty and think THANK FUCK I SURVIVED PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH MINIMAL WEDGIES.

    Also - gay much?
