    Just to remind folks that there's a week left to download Kemper Norton's A23 e.p for free here

    It's four tracks based very loosely based around minor locations on the A23 road in Sussex , but more fun than that sounds.

    Good stuff. It’s deceptively simple—you can just let it be ambient music and not notice where it takes you, or pay attention and realize that it goes all over the place without ever coming apart.

    What sort of looping gear do you guys use? I dig the lo-fi artefacts and other crackles; they make really wonderful textures.

    Thanks for feedback, kind words and noticing I'd screwed the original link up....

    @taphead....we use lots of delay over everything , modular software like Reaktor , field recordings from small towns and beaches,toys found lying around the place, and drunken recordings sent to us by our friends. Especially the guitar bits. Collabarations always welcome. LOVING Atomgrad by the way ! Wonderful mix of joyful noise and unwell beats.

    The next e.p should be ready for Christmas , feature honking distorted trumpets , and be very noisy.

    Impressively hidden laptoppery, I would've sworn that was as analog as possible! Collaborations welcome, you say? I'd be more than happy to supply some assorted noises or what have you. If interested, hit me with some email (address in the account info).

    Are there any good free file storage sites that don't bombard you with adporn ? Will be uploading more freebies in the future , but don't want to add to the global evil of marketing/destroy people's computers while doing it .

    Finally getting around to listening to this after downloading it right away. All I can say is "Great job!" It's actually not too often I keep an artist's "Hey, check this out!" internet material, but this one's going in my iTunes... right now.

    thanks rickiepOOh ! Apparently there's no deadline on mediafire , so the e.p should still be available if people want it.

    working on another one...a free Christmas e.p to be released in the next week or so. It'll have a sequel to Winterval on it ,which was featured on Warren's 4am 9.

    Downloaded it - the link still works - it's great. I know my tastes in music are usually out of fashion, but it had a Godspeed sound to it - which is meant to be praise.
