    First comics day of the new year. Here's what shipped today.

    Pretty light week. We're usually pulling subscriptions until about 1PM. Today we were done by 11:15. Here's what I picked up: Lobster Johnson #5, Omega The Unknown #4, Doktor Sleepless #4, The Black Diamond #6, Northlanders #2, Gravel #0, Ultimate Human #1, Sorrow #3

    Looking forward particularly to Northlanders #2. Issue #1 was great; particularly just in the amount of story the creators were able to get into a single issue. Lot of bang for the buck. I hope #2 continues the trend.

    I haven't read any of the Strange Kiss/Killings books, so I picked up Gravel in the hopes that it would provide a good jumping-on point to that world and character. Hoping I won't be totally lost.

    And of course Doktor Sleepless has been a recent favorite so I'll probably be reading that one first.

    No Dr. S or Gravel but Northlanders continued its path of excellence and the good folk at TM convinced me to try Sharkman - great art but not totally hooked on the story. We'll see. Vinyl Underground and Lobster J to read tonight.
