It is human nature. That is one thing I always admired about the US constitution. They have a system for revolution built right in just in case that happens.
The second amendment is there to make sure the people always have the means at their disposal to overthrow the government if it gets to corrupt.
In fact that was one of the major signs of fascism that is missing from that video, an end to private firearm ownership.
