It's Friday, it's FREAKANGELS: In which some folks just aren't having a good day, no.

G'morning, Whitechapel. How're we all doing? Anyone already done with 2009 and ready for '10 to start?

    The plot, thickens it does.

2009 seems to have so far just been one long minor illness. I've had this damned annoying cough for days now, it gets really bad when I try to go to sleep. Needless to say, I'm feeling a little sleep deprived at the moment.

Anyone else get a King Mob vibe from the last panel?

The story unfolds a bit more and the FA go on the offensive. Me likey. The suckage is extremely low.

Oh dear, Luke. And oh yes, someone is going to get their furniture kicked around a bit.

2009..will be better as of next Thursday when I rid myself on my masters thesis (current plan: print extra copy. Burn extra copy. Dance around fire whooping. Go get soundly and utterly ratassed.)

It's so bloody thrilling. I just want to time travel my way into the future, find the finished series and not put it down until I'm done reading it.

2009 has mostly been spent in bed this far. But I've had some small shots of happy here and there. I'm ready for the rest, '10 can wait.

So far 2009 is me sitting at home with no internet watching my daughter. But tomorrow is Saturday, maybe I can actually go to the store or something.

Liked this week. Luke... well. He may be right, but does he have to be such a dick? Personality goes a long way. If Luke had a better personality, maybe he'd cease to be filthy. Also, Kirk = teh awesome.

And I'm pretty sure I got names right this week... ;-)

Besides a paycheck, FA is my highlight of Friday. As they say out here in trailerland "The eagle flies on Friday"

Luke seems innocent, the FA team appears to be easily corraled.....

Personally, 2009 better give up the goods or else.

Not me. He should have just shut up rather than say "prove it".

I've been fighting a cold with Lemsip capsules and Berocca.

    Great little episode

No sickness yet. Lucky odaelisabeth getting to spend all that time in bed - I could use more time in bed.

09 has got to be better than 08 - sweet jeebus it simply has to be

So far renting a castle with 60 others for a New Years drink up, illustrating, and guitar hero world tour have increased the happy shots.
Here's to a nice fun and productive weekend for us all.

Luke acts like my sister, and well, I don't speak to her. I get the feeling that if the Freakangels have any intelligence about them they'll deal with Luke instead of just letting him leave. While I certainly don't trust Luke, I'm not sure that Mark wasn't involved. I'm with Mikki though, they shouldn't just kill the mortar group. Eh... my brain is super fuzzy so I really shouldn't be typing.

Not enough has happened in 2009 to have a decision. Though I have been cranky lately.

    Hmmm, very interesting...

I'm feeling sorry for unfortunate Luke, even if he is a bastard, he's a funny bastard and one who is clearly about a million times more intelligent than his stupid shortsighted overreactionary peers. And he just keeps getting beaten up.

In addition I really, really want to see Jack get killed in some horrible nasty way. I just mean... a transparent vest... at night? WTF? Put a jumper on, dude. London is cold at night. Unless London is now really warm due to the changed climate. But even so...

Overall, liking the coldhearted violence of the FAs. Makes me grin :D (Even if I want Luke to get some revenge. Maybe that is just my natural support of the underdog or something).

'Stay calm. Answer quickly. You'll be fine.'
... No you WON'T!! You just tried to shoot a psychopathic girl in the head. She's going to fuck you up... Noooo ;P

In addition I think Kait is kind of hot, but that says more about me than it does about her. Oh the ragged trousered antipathists. Also, is FA not the best weekly webcomic ever? Yes. You clearly know it is!

If the 'Angels can bend the trajectory of bullets in flight, I'm guessing that they would be excellent shots. Even if the aim was off they could just guide into the intended brain. Convenient, that.

2009 seems mostly filled with me putting up with the laziness and incompetence of others. So pretty much like 2008. I can only assume that 2010 will be similar. So I'll just stay here, temporally speaking.

    You and me both bruv....

I'm starting to like the sociopathic tendancies of the other FA's less and less - and this is making the story even more interesting as I always think the best stories are those that deal in the shadier, grey areas of people and their actions. One of my favourite literary characters has always been Pete Bondurant (American Tabloid/The Cold 6 Thousand) and those of his ilk, good(ish) people who occasionaly have to do bad things.

so far, I have a toothache from dental work done a couple of weeks ago. I guess I'll be calling them in a bit.

Freakangels is awesome, and i've said that enough times that everyone's tired of me repeating it

I'm ready to move to Portland now, mentally. The relative time off has been good, but Pee-honix has gotten a bit boring.

In regards to today's episode; I like the little spots in the story that shore up the beliefs that all the individual Freakangels hold. Each is not afraid to show how they feel to themselves, but they all seem to have a lot of uncertainty about individuals in their little band. And I don't believe that's simply because of their power...

Great episode. I'm not sure if Luke had anything to do with helping the mortar hit the Freakcave though. It seems like he likes to think and plot and plan. If Luke came across the attackers, helping the shot along would seem too opportunistic for him. Although, he does seem to be painting himself as an outsider and enjoying his suffering; hitting the Freakcave would be a fine 'fuck you' to all of the others.

2009 is off to a pretty good start for me. 2010 can take it's sweet time getting here.
