...or it's a freak occurrence of nature. There's nothing to say that nature can't be synchronized. Randomness, by its very definition, can include patterns, repetition, or synchronization. I think, given the lack of evidence, "It just happened" is just as likely an argument as "Some outside force did this".
I definitely think Warren is laughing at us... especially at the moment "Conspiracy" was uttered. Can you hear him? I don't think the FAs were manufactured or test tube babies or anything like that. We know a little about some of their parents. They were just born at the exact same moment with "the package deal". I mean, they've got freaking superpowers. I think we can throw away scientific reasoning, don't you?
Plus it's born at the same time, not concieved at the same time. Arkady could be physically three months younger than Kait and a huge spectrum in between. When you throw out various definitions of "born", there's really no way to know anything about it. At this point, any arguement for one can be turned to the other.
Warren's work has used the "conspiracy" meme in the past. S'all I'm sayin', yo.
And yes, he's laughing at us. I, for one, am glad I've given the Master Storyteller a good chuckle at my obvious stupidity by commenting on a story already in progress.
Mark: Dead? Not Dead? We know nothing. Time will tell.
I think we're about to reach the top of the arch, and Warren does like to jerk us around around there... we are totally due here. NOT ASKING FOR ONE, by the way, Mr. Ellis ;)
In seriousness, drawing and writing a comic, including a webcomic, is hard. It is difficult work. If Warren and Paul choose to take a week off to catch their breaths, that's a good thing. Among other things, it means that they're far less likely to burn out on Freakangels and end the project. All skip weeks do to me is build the anticipation for the next Freakangels installment, so I am cool with them.
