I'm also a big fan of Sirkka (not a big fan of society, and the basis of society is the family unit) and Kait (Hardassed but fair is definately "teh Awesum").

But I have to say, Arkady is the all around bestist Freakangel in the world. the whimsey is part of it, as is the completly practical approach to hair :-P. The biggest draw is that unlike the others, she embraces her power and makes it her own (she's the only one to figure out teleporting, c'mon really?) She was the first to realize that they could change the world. She was also the only one who went into the outsider's camp knowing that they would become part of the Whitechapel community. I am the fence about: Connor, Miki, Jack and Sirrka. I'd like to see more of Connor and Miki before I figure them out. Jack and Sirrka's relationship an interesting reflection of the couple who is always on and off with a psychic twist, however both parties would likely annoy the shit out of me IRL.

Who I dislike- Luke and Alice. Luke is obvious, but I disliked him before for being a mooch. I don't like Alice for sheer personal reasons. Jack, because, well to be honest he reminds me of myself. Deeply and darkly ego-maniacal of me to say such a thing, no doubt, but I catch myself wondering when I read scenes with him in them if Warren didn't take a moment to think about me when he came up with his personality/looks. Which is equal parts impossible and insane, but still it happens.

Arkady, because she's ( accidentally or no ) almost entirely dissolved her ego and is nothing but sweetness and balm - even when she put the whammy on Luke.

For the record, I also think that her overdose experience, and the resulting effects it had on her ego-wise, are specifically the reason she's done SO much more with her 'package' than the rest have. She's simply 'not in the way of herself' anymore, and it lends her the freedom to really reach and explore without the hang-ups and obsessions that the rest of them are so desperately mired in.
Our own minds are really our worst enemies, sometimes.

Arkady's just plain [i]fun[/i], and from a storyline perspective she's one of the most interesting characters because there's obviously a lot more happening with her than she lets on. Nobody knows what sort of chat with the future she had when she got "upgraded" via a drug overdose, and she's been operating for years now with knowledge that the other FreakAngels never even suspected. Plus it's going to be interesting to see what she does when the others realise that she's only pretending to be brain-damaged.

And Mark is a dude of hidden depths, despite his patently jerkass actions. He's working towards some sort of greater good that's so vitally important to him that he's willing to murder innocents and turn his only friends against him, and for some reason feels that he can't try to explain or justify himself to anyone. Plus the flashbacks established that he was a fairly nice kid before he took the lead role in accidentally(?) ending the world, so obviously there's something interesting going on in his backstory to justify the transition from nice kid to cold-blooded messiah.

Oh and I get the feeling that I'm going to find Kait very interesting (and very loathesome) soon. I would hang out with Alice probably, she has a great sense of humour and she swears like a navvie. I would also enjoy sitting and talking with Caz, I suspect.

Which character attracts you the most?

Connor - he's beautiful. Long, pale, lithe with big sad eyes and long dark hair. Plus he has a sweet nature.

On the other hand, who don't you like?

Luke is very obvious and it would be interesting to see if he could ever redeem himself. Arkady - sweet and innocent, but seems like she was very sharp when she was younger (in the flashback episodes when she had her long purple hair, and a matching jacket with Karl's)
Sirkka - interesting lifestyle, we haven't seen her do much other than sleep and order her minions around though; I would like to get to know her better as the story develops.
Kait - very tough, and sexy in that way. I like when she talks about Quincy; she is crazy in a fiery and eye-catching way.
Miki - levelheaded, and motherly in a way compared to the rest of the female Freakangels.
Caz - Extremely amiable, willing to sacrifice her time for others, similar to Miki.
(I am not attracted to the male characters, but I can judge them with an unbiased eye)
Jack - He is a handsome man (nice stubble he has there) who is lonesome and nostalgic in my opinion; that is why he "salvages what he can find from the past".
Luke - A handsome and clever man, with sharp and piercing features; obviously very intelligent. His morality is very interesting to study. He is not evil; at least from his point of view; he is merely doing what needs to be done to "survive" (he has a bit of Dr. Manhattan and Ozymandias from Watchmen in him)
Mark - Don't know much about him or why he did what he did, but he seems to be a wild card for now. Easily corrupted, as seen from when he was young: "channel your anger", he said.
Connor - He records everything, he's quiet, he does not call attention to himself, but he is very observant; he initiates the upgrade, and gives without wanting.
Kirk - Big brotherly indeed; Kirk is a born leader, or he thinks so, whichever way it may be, he definitely feels responsible for what happens. He is serious, but seems like a nice guy.
Karl - Serene and patient, Karl tends to his garden lovingly, and prefers the calm of his plants to the telepathic altercations of his "siblings". Karl seemed like a really cool dude when he was young ( i liked his mohawk), and I think he was always close to Arkady; they even had matching jackets when they were younger. THrough patience, he learns to change the weather.

(Am I really the first person to point this out?) MIKI IS SMOKIN' HOT! Even when she's elbow-deep in body fluids, Miki has that whole repressed-and-in-serious-need-of-release thing going on, she's smarter than hell, she would probably go off like the Fourth of July if she got in touch with her inner passion, she would probably cuss the whole time too.

I would pity Luke, but dislike him; most of the others are equally as mucked up because of what happened, however, they don't abandon their morals and just go doing what they feel like (except for Mark, which is also why I dislike him, and this is also why I also have a soft spot for Alice - she is personally messed with by Mark, and can't fight him on his home element (ie psychic FA powers) but she instead gets over it and becomes extremely useful.
