    What're you listening to?

New week's releases are up at on Monday morning - just choose a genre from left and click "magic mix" to stream excerpts from the new releases.

Ariana usually swings by Largehearted Boy's Try it before you buy it posts on Tuesday mornings, too.

    Commence playlist speakage.

Pretty much everything by the Deftones.

Should I be ashamed that I've only just gotten into them, like, as of yesterday?

"Hole in the Earth" is burning a hole in my eardrums.

    @ Julian Rubbish:

Better late than never. White Pony is indelibly stamped into most of my memories from every summer since 2000.

I can imagine. I've only seen videos so far, but here's hoping they come near here.

    Meshuggah - I

Chaos, made aural. And it's fucking brilliant, clocking in at 21 minutes in length, like the mad ramblings of a metal genius with a broken mind.

I love that part at about the two minute mark where everything goes to hell and it's almost white noise for about a minute until the big riff comes in. When I first heard that, I thought my brain broke.
