Talky talky talky and it's good. Arkady is aces is so many ways. Booooo to Miki and her "sense".

It's been an odd week. I got some kind of weird 'flu thing, but with no cold-like symptoms. At least I got to stay home and read comics. And then my doctor told me she wants to review my medication. Which is not good because I've been self-medicating for the past couple of years and getting it about right. Hmm. At least I'm not dead. Like Batman. Bwahahahahaha

Agreeing with Trini on this one, although I fear more for Arkady's well-being.

Seeing no reason to complain on my behest. Feeling a lot more worry for friends the economy is kicking around like a hackey-sack. Ifigure if they had taken that 800 billion and split up between us on Main Street, we'd each have gotten $2500.00. Tell me that wouldn't stimulate the economy...

I'm really taking to heart what Arkady said about them all being able to do everything, but just having to have the time to dig around for the controls. I think that it's true for everyone.

I'm not dead this week. Although not quite alive yet. Working on that.

Okay, that wouldn't stimulate the economy. At least not much. Figure most people who get a $2500 bonus are probably going to use it to pay their bills and save most of what's left in case of even rainier days. And that's a smart, prudent thing to do for an individual in financial trouble. Unfortunately, it's an unhelpful thing to occur when the country as a whole is in financial trouble. Money is like blood, if it's not circulating, you're in serious trouble.

I like the desire to be smart rather than stupid.

As to keeping some cash circulating - we could make 'relief cash' out of radioactive metals that would unsafe to hoard ...

I believe Jack and Miki are my favorites, followed closely by Caz. I wonder what it says about one's personality when they identify with paticular FreakAngels aye? Of course the ranking changes, I have a fondness for Kait.

Well done guys, a lovely episode. It's nice to take a momentary pause for discussion in all the mayhem. Go Miki!

ARKADY: WE CAN ALL DO ANYTHING, REALLY.
ARKADY: YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE THE TIME TO DIG AROUND IN YOUR HEAD FOR THE CONTROLS.

Be very careful with this sort of thing. It is precisely what turned the Watchman from a compelling drama, to a sort of ridiculous "God Man" fiasco.

I thought I was dead there for a while, but it turns out I was just really bored.

FA helps, though. Bang up job.

It's not a matter of what they can do but of what they should do.

Five'll get you ten that the series ends with somebody saying "Let there be light."

I second that bet, now if only we could find someone to bet against us,
Dr. Manhattan perhaps, if only he weren't so busy creating life (and light) of his own somewhere else.

It's such a easy (sleazy) way out of an existential dilemma; beginning with the Epic of Gilgamesh and their Flood. Write yourself into a corner? Don't worry, just get some super power to start yourself over again.

For once I have no antifreakangel sentiment. This was a really good "human" episode and showed the FA to be just that. Human. They maybe superhuman, metahuman, whatever, but they were generally acting like real people. With the exception of Arkady, who was behaving like the shopkeeper in Mr. Ben.
Real people, with a grievance, and for the first time in about 10 episodes, I felt some empathy for them again, Miki provided an excellent balance, a voice of reason.
Stupendous pacing, I can't believe how one episode has somewhat altered my perceptions.

Graphically. I liked that the "teleport" has no flashy graphic or effect. It lends a definate quite surreal quality to the act. Your'e not here, your here. Your'e not there, your'e there.

I'm not dead. but the 3 or so months of kidney pain makes me wonder if its not on the cards.

If you look closely you can tell by the way her...um...crotch... is unclothed...
But I really like that about her look (and not in a pervy way :P)
I like that she's kinda nuts and child like, that her nearly nude state doesn't bother her in the least...Sex doesn't seem to be something Arkady thinks about...

Fucksticks! My new catchphrase :D Gotta love KK.

I love that the FA package isn't completely defined yet, so there's still surprises.

I should be dead... downed a couple pots of coffee around midnight and it's the first time it hasn't put me to sleep, but instead kept me tossing and turning in bed all night. Dying to dream, but getting nothing til 8 (and was all too tempted at that point just to say Fuck It and go check FreakAngels).

"Fucksticks" is indeed supreme, but i think "Cockmonkey" just about wins.

Why don't we all try these words out over the next seven days, and feedback the results?

Mark me down as not dead. Couldn't kill me with a silver bullet. Although the past week of -30 C windchills here in this frozen joke of a country have made me wish I was dead.

"Cockmonkey" is totally going into the rotation.

When I was in high school, I used to say "monkey cock wrinkle".
Also "penis swab" "pipe fucker" and "cum gargling gutter hussy".
