Yeah the upload interface is shocking, but I like deviantart. There are quite a few comic pros on there, so I like being able to check out their portfolios, and exchange tips, and techniques, with my fellow pros (who I rarely, if ever, get to see).
The fan ego stroking is always a morale booster too. LOL
Lately I have been uploading nothing but costume and prop creations. MY illustration skills have dwindled down to only allowing me to create rudimentary sick figure art.
Got various crap on mine. None of it too good except for some of the photos (4 years and less than 100 things uploaded, ugh I'm lazy). I have to agree with David who likes the pro pages on there. There are people I didn't even know had a deviantart account that do, such as Lenil Yu and even Paul Duffield.
