I don't know if anyone here knows who Mac Lethal is, but his song "At Least There's Twitter" (number 7 on Love Potion 5) is pretty cool.

You are free to observe the daily-ish twitter updates of Veronika von Volkova.
    Or not.
    You may choose.

The people I follow range from the awesomely talented (Amanda Palmer, Warren Ellis and David Hewlett) to the wierd randomness you get online (some of the fictional tweeters can be entertaining, ie Deep Thought, Zaphod Beeblebrox and multiple versions of most Dr Who's/sidekicks), plus people I either know from websites or fandoms. My actual tweeting is sporadic, and due to the nature of my phone (and the fact that other than premium services, it costs nothing to receive texts), I can send tweets via text, but not receive them.

For those looking at platforms, I did use Digsby for a while, but haven't touched it in ages.

    FYI, this is me.

I love Twitter. Following people I enjoy and admire, short messages all throughout the day and links to more if I want to read more. Yee.

While we're at it, gang - how do you moderate/control/just plain deal with your Twitflow?

I've got enough that I'm following that 'ware that allows me to make sub-groups is indespensable, which is why it has to be Tweetdeck for my computers (blessedly cross-platform, so my Macs & Ubunti Minibox are in sync) and the frankly excellent Gravity app for S60 phones. Any better hints? -(Other than not being an utter tart, which is not within my skill-set...)

Cat, have you considered having multiple Twitter accounts for your various groups? Almost all the Twitter clients I've seen have support for multiple accounts, and I assume your kind of issues are the reason for it.

I look at Twitter as an exercise in letting go. I'm not on there a lot, but when I am, it's like I've just wandered into a conversation. I only go back a few dozen posts and if I have anything to add to the conversation (or if I've got some new topic to share), I do. I'm sure I miss plenty, but that's fine. If I didn't then I'd have to be on there all the time.

I use two accounts; one is private that I use with real life friends, local news, etc, and the other one is public that I use for internet friends, celebrities, etc. I've though about forming just a Whitechapel one there are so many of you!

This is not strictly a twitter thing, but there is a twitter app for it:

It's pretty, it works, and I may well give them some money.

I thought I'd stick this here, as I'm too scared to raise a thread for it.

@ Mad_Man_Moon thanks, rather cool and I may get the pro version as well, want to play around with it for a few days first.
