OK, if there was a @whitechapel widget on the sidebar, that would lure me into participation. No doubt it would drain off some of the chattier stuff from the forums, so depends on whether that's what the management wants to see or not I suppose.
I think if I wanted something Whitechapel related that would update throughout the day on various topics of interest, I would just go to Whitechapel. I...really don't see the point in a twitterfeed for it. Also the Whitechapel toolbar does an awesome job.
And for the record, the people who just added me are mac and cheese fetishist rubes. Welcome to twitter. :)
I'm on as glukkake, also listed in the original thread.
I enjoy having new people to follow.
As a note: it's rude of me to state, but if you folks don't turn your twitter names into links directly to your page, I won't be bothered to cut/paste them into the browser and go view them. Nothing I hate more than copying and pasting. Anyone with me?
Yeah, I'm still around there as adampark, but I've filled my quota of People I'm Following. It becomes unuseably pointless if you're following too many people, particularly if you have a compulsive need to have read all the updates since you last checked. Some mornings it takes me 10 minutes or more to catch up on what all you Western Hemisphereâ„¢ folks have been up to while I'm in sleep-mode.
Mostly I rant about how my job has fucked me over this time, and various promises that I really AM wearing trousers...
