    What're you listening to?

New week's releases are up at on Monday morning - just choose a genre from left and click "magic mix" to stream excerpts from the new releases.

Ariana usually swings by Largehearted Boy's Try it before you buy it posts on Tuesday mornings, too.

    Commence playlist speakage.

TEAR IT UP-nothing to nothing lp (my one time favorite-ist band in the world, they are just too depressing and miserable for me to listen to them frequently anymore. one of the best punk lps ever though! combines every type of punk really, except crust and d-beat, plus a little 70s rock influence. so good. so unhappy. music to cut yourself to.)
SEX/VID-communal living 12"ep (the song "footsteps" has actually bored into my skull and taken up residence)

Came back around to Atari Teenage Riot and Six Finger Satellite.
And just yesterday, I stumbled upon a Meat Beat Manifesto album I had not heard in a decade. What a treat!

"Yes! Deviate just for the hell of it
Something red is coming this way
I can't help this strange fascination
    Is it my imagination? "

Currently, I've got the Beastie Boys going, and intend to run through their discography this week, again.

I've also just discovered Gay Jamaican Rap/Hiphop in the form of Deep Dickollective which is actually rather amazing, and I recommend it to all.

There has been a brief listen to Anal Cunt, followed by raucous laughter. If you don't know why, you either haven't listened to Anal Cunt, or you take them far too seriously.

Also, for those who like their industrial, and believe me, I do: Foetus. Dated, but still good.

I sold your dog to a chinese restaurant, and Hitler was a sensitive man are just two of my favorite Anal Cunt songs...

also, a list of links to the bands i mentioned:
