    American Airlines' planes flying the transcontinental route between New York and California are slated to carry anti-missile defense systems attached to the underside of each craft.

    Can you picture the ads : a boeing hit by a missile, bursting into smoke, flames and death, and as the slow mo debris fall in a rain of fire, a suave male voice over says : now you wish you flew with american airlines.
