    It was great to see most of the Freakangels together in the same panel, but the last page was just heartbreaking. There's literally no furniture there to knock over. I wonder if the FA's will sympathize or if that little campfire group is really what they seem to be.

    I'm doing OK this week. Still have a cough from that Christmas cold, but getting better.

    Yeah, at the UoE, but only for a few more months. Then I graduate with a degree in Literature, move back in with my parents and start visiting the JobCenter Plus. The very thought of graduating in a recession makes me feel nauseous. I just want a job working for a publisher, but that's about as likely as sprouting wings and flying to the sun.

    Yeah yeah, group teleportation pic is pretty sweet, but c'mon, walking over that downed fence, glowy eyed and pissed looking is way more badass. If that panel doesn't scream FA poster, I don't know what does. I'd buy that for a dollar.

    @daviddarkly Im right with you there, come the end of next year i might regret choosing creative writing as a degree. Im loving the hell out of it but the situation at the moment is just making my anus clench with the thought of looking for employment

    I once again survived the "learn Chinese philosophy in a week" week for the course I teach. It's insane. Cool, but insane.

    Like everyone else, I loved the teleportation freakout page. And the pissed off glowing eyes panel, too. Seeing them all together emphasizes how different they all are. I love Paul's little touches. Like their footwear, or lack thereof, which I was noticing this week for some reason.

    That group sure doesn't look like the sort of people who can organize an attack like that. But looks can be deceiving.

    Worried about just who's minding the store. And the intel is looking off so if it was intentionally misdirected...eep?

    Ha, excellent episode, the pacing was superb, it flowed really naturally. How the hell did the Grey Ditch crew get their hands on all those big guns when they can barely light a fire? Also I really liked panel #4, the FreakAngels look really surprised and in a way more youthful and less 'cool' than usual. One more thing, sunglasses at night? Kirk's a douche.

    I've suggested FA to a wonderful new friend of mine. She's slowly making her way through various comics by the Moore, Gaiman, Ellis, etc.

    And found out another acquaintance from way back already reads it.

    Oh, this week: LOVED the 'porting scene. Arkady's my favourite by far. I enjoy the others' company, but Arkady'd be the one I'd spend my time with. She's always so smiley.

    I, too, thought that page would make a great poster.

    Thanks everyone involved for a great start to the weekend.

    And if I were a Freakangel, my personal "surprise" talent ala Arkady would be the ability to make any headache disappear instantly. ow ow ow.
