I thought I heard a choir of angels singing, but then I remembered it's just more ATP awesomeness.

Hopefully, they'll take that as a launchpad and play somewhere closer to home.

It also says this on the Touch & Go / Quarterstick page:
"The Jesus Lizard is going to play roughly 30 shows worldwide this year. They'll be putting up new dates as soon as they are confirmed on their page."

I met Duane Denison once when he was playing with Hank III years ago. Not a great "I met the famous person" story: he was cool and funny but also kind of dour and just silently sipped his Jack Daniels before the show. He's phenomenal though.

I would really love to see Sleep play Holy Mountain on that same show.

The last time I saw them was when they were touring with RATM. That was the craziest fucking show of my life—I was partially deaf for three days. Ah, the 1990s…

The Jesus Lizard was an amazing live band, just beware the crazy dwarf when he heads out into the crowd. Yow got ahold of me the last time I saw them and I thought I was never going to shake him off. He is a strong little bastard.
