    What's up with all of your exclamation marks? There seemed to be so many in the last few posts. (Then again, this could be a demonstration of my perception bias: If ever I'm writing out my thoughts, my words are calmed enough by the process that I never really use exclamation marks.)

    Well, the information that KK and Caz extracted indicated a large group of people armed with military-grade weaponry, even if it was the "dregs" of an arsenal. For all the 'angels knew, the people they encountered were a scout-strike team going for a quick victory and that when they didn't return, the other people from the group would launch an attack on the town with that same military hardware, very probably killing a lot of Whitechapel natives. So, it seemed best to take the fight to them and flatten them with Freakpowers that they wouldn't need to conceal.
