    I have people that understand that Mr. Ellis writes things other than X-men stories. They actually order stuff in if it's not explicitly ordered! Because they, y'know, SELL comics to people, rather than hiding behind a counter and blurting out "PREVIEWS! ORDER!"

    Man, I miss that store. Thank Cthulu for the mail.

    My LCS (Page 45, Nottm) likewise, but they'll be stashing me a copy of ignition city anyway, if they know what's good for them.

    If the last issues of gravel and anna mercury are anything to go by this isn't going to be on the shelves for very long...both sold out by the Friday after they were out (thursday's is new comics day over here in the old-world), and I can only get there on Saturday's..

    Still, I might just hand in a coupon later, that widescreen cover is too pretty to miss out on.

    You know what? I feel lucky when I read all this.
    The comic shop I go to (134 kms away from where I live) will get me everything I asked and has done so since the beginning of the year. So I get all the Avatar/Ellis I can afford, plus they DO have a sense of humour. If some of youz live in Paris they already know the name of the store: "Album Comics"

    Yet, what is the price of the retro painted?

    Yeah I know, but, and I'm not being sarcastic, the euro is quite advantageous at the moment compared to the dollar, so it shouldn't hurt (and anyway those covers are frakking great)

    I usually have good luck getting Ellis Avatar stuff at my LCS, except for Aetheric Mechanics. I put it down to be ordered for me almost a month ago. Everytime I go in there and ask about it, I get the same "if it comes in we'll always call you..if we don't call it's not in" bullshit token answer. (anybody got the diamond order number for that btw?) Anyway, can't wait to hand them that coupon. It's pretty cut and dry, and has a sense of humor. They'll still probably say "so..this means you want to add Ignition City to your pull list?"
