We're going to launch one of these threads a month. And down the months and years, we'll build up not only a mugshot parade of the Whitechapel crew -- but also, for those who choose to participate monthly, there'll be a record of how we all change and grow (and in my case age horribly).

Obviously, I encourage participation from everyone, even if you're just joining the place. This thread is certainly not just for the old lags.

So. Take a photo of yourself and post it (if you're not sure how -- you put a photo on the web somewhere, a free hosting site like Flickr or Photobucket or your LJ gallery if you use LJ -- Blogger image hosting won't work -- and click the "img" button above to put the address of the image in, the http://) here.

I'll get to mine once I'm, you know... piss off, I'm busy...

    Begin.

(Those of you doing 365 projects at Flickr obviously have a head start...!)

As mentioned in the Open Mic thread, I am currently sporting ridiculous muttonchops. Observe:

Those are awesome, and less ridiculous than you might think.

I just shaved off the potential for chops and was left with a horrible baby face.

Standing out on the Mississippi River earlier today, we jumped to a positively balmy 45°F this afternoon, first time above freezing since early December, possibly even November.

    Hello, February

    Chop chop.

    Alex with an axe.

I was helping to make a small snow sculpture at Sapporo Snow Festival today, and if you'd been outside trying to make a smooth, clean surface with an axe in a blizzard you'd probably be making a similar face.

The cold is setting in. Thus the fleece-thingy.

@jchava, thewaltonsare and edbury - I really need to get a photo with my tat in. Problem being that since it's my back, getting my face into the same photo is problematic.

@burntcopper-Yeah, that can be tricky. I've got several on my back and taking self portraits of ones back can be difficult indeed.

Don't blame the iPhone camera... I'm naturally grainy. I was born in a mill.
