Mr. Scruff's new Essential Mix, Flying Lotus - Los Angeles, Steve Reich - Drumming, Eskmo - Ancestor Mix, The Beatles - Let It Be Naked. An odd mix.

Picked up Au Revoir Simone's "The Bird of Music" upon an earlier post's recommendation. Good stuff.

Digging Towa Tei's newest, "Big Fun". Mashing together so many influences so well, and making it so funky. Genius.

Ministry, Low Motion Disco, Chaz Jankel and Hot Chip rounding things out.
    Weird music week, soundtrack helped.

Listening to Lost In The Future by Sneaky Sound System.

I can't get my head to stop bobbing.

That's not what I'd intended to happen to that link, but okay.

I know I come to this discussion a bit late, but I'm checking out a lot of the stuff mentioned in this thread! I used to consider myself "eclectic", but after barely recognizing one out of every fifteen artists mentioned, now I've got whole new areas to branch off into. Thanks for that.

For my part, I'm mostly a jazz-head who has a special interest in choral vocal stuff and Brasil's beats. So I'm probably more than a bit out of place here. But of course, there's always more "popular" stuff going on, er... so... I heard a few mentions of M. Ward in here, some Beethoven (sang the 9th symphony a couple months ago, actually! Thrilling stuff! We're doing Faure's Requiem this season.), and even Baby Bird. So anyway, here's a random sampler of what's on my playlist this week.

Miles Davis Quintet - It Could Happen To You
Suzanne Vega - If I Were A Weapon
    M. Ward - Requiem
    Zucchero - Baila Morena
Flight of the Conchords - Motha 'uckas
The Swingle Singers - Little Organ Fugue

    and a pretty thing.
