G'morning, Whitechapel. We're only four episodes off from the conclusion of book two*, so today's a little break and some FREAKANGELS eye-candy.

Warren's right, we're all a bit knackered. And by "we" I've got a feeling I mean "pretty much everyone" -- how's everyone hanging in there?

I am quite pleased with how diligently The Masters work for their slaves. There were hardly any breaks during this volume, and they deserve one :)
    Bubble-baths and whiskey all around!

I'm tired. I'm almost always tired. In fact my therapist told me I should exercise and hang out with my friends more because I'm so tired. Well I image if I don't fall asleep at work today that'll be an good deal. But I think everyone is tired.

    glowy eyes!
    glowy eyes!

yeah. um. I'm not completely exhausted, but I spent many hours in the bed yesterday, so that might explain some of it. Everything seems to be on this month and we're all about to go bonkers from busy. I've been jealously guarding my alone and down time. with a pick ax. it works.

hope all are well, thanks for the new pretties!

Wow. Volume 2 seemed to come up quick. Thanks for posting the covers.
I've been swinging back and forth from tired and grumpy to sugar high and giddy. It's been a long week.

I'm not a bit knackered. I'm totally, utterly and completely knackered. Slept a bunch yesterday thanks to being ill. But then I woke up at midnight and I'm still going. Not doing anything productive...just giving the bacteria more time to gestate and become something truly noteworthy.

Warren, thanks for making even the breaks entertaining. I had quite forgotten that we're still within the first 24 hours.

Burnt out, but not so much that I don't feel a little bit bad about not caring about anything anymore.

I'm actually pretty pissed off today. I've been having Issues with my live in ex girlfriend. Basically she's absolutely fucking crazy.
I tried having a logical conversation with her this morning for the first time in a long time and it turned into a crazy backwards argument that made absolutely no my husband is screaming at her in in my bedroom...
My dad's been a pain in the ass all week...being very patronizing and senile at the same time...he came to visit for a few days and nearly drove every one crazy with his meddling...
I've been downing nerve pills as soon as I woke up all I decided to skip it, and this happened...but the bliss of medication is in the other room with the crazy people...

Oh..and my fridge is still broken...
repair man hasn't called us back...more snow...more delays...more warm bottled water and canned soup for lunch...

Knackered is one way to put it. Battling caffeine withdrawal is another. Just took the kettle off the heat for some mint green tea, though (as in, mint-flavored green tea, not that the tea color is mint green), so that should help. I really ought to stick to the "no soda" decrees I set for myself. Ah well. Haven't decided what to do with the day. Ought to work on some scripty goodness, but my head feels like there's a sea urchin trying to punch its way out through my temple, and the no-caffeine-plus-sunlight-plus-monitor combination is not good for my already-light-sensitive eyes. I should probably just take a nap. But I won't.

The week went by pretty quickly, as it usually does for me, what with being unemployed and having a child to dash around after. I did find some interesting things, though. I downloaded the Guitar Hero 3 rip of Metallica's Death Magnetic and marvelled at the difference in sound quality between it and the CD. I also found out there's a new Mastodon track posted on their Myspace page. I can't wait for that record to come out. Also did some taxes the other night, did some writing yesterday, and paid some bills today, so all in all--aside from feeling like shit--I feel like I actually accomplished something. Even if, really, I didn't. It is, though, only 12:30pm here.

    Anyway. Freakangels.

Sad for the skip, but I completely understand it. Love the announcement of Volume Two. I'm actually slightly tempted to go back and get the hardcover of One, even though I already have the softcover. We shall see if it's in the budget. Cheers all, and I can't wait for next week!

    I'm also shag-knackered.

No days off until end of Feb.

But comforted that all you chaps feel like zombies too.

After a week of insane stress in my life, I was starting to feel as if I was beginning to regain some small measure of control on things. Then circumstances changed on a big work project, and I'm now feeling as if a herd of elephants just shat on me and I can hear another herd arriving any minute.

I'm trying to tell myself that's the drama queen in me speaking, but I haven't succeeded yet.

I've been so knackered I've had an electroencephalogram to make sure I'll live. No, seriously. Loooong-standing sleep trouble.

I'm not completely knackered. Yet. I am, however, REALLY looking forward to the weekend. Also looking forward to adding vol. 2 to my bookshelf. Vol. 1 is lonely up there...

Tired, oh so tired. But, I got my Freakangels blanket in the mail yesterday, along with this print, which I figured would be sold out by now. This made me very happy.

Volume Two, limited Edition HC is a thing of beauty - it would make an awesome poster/print. *hint*
