@curb Warren had a similar thread on the Engine, but it was him going "THIS IS THE BEST SINGLE PANEL IN COMICS HISTORY", posting a Judge Dredd panel, and then everybody else submitting their own ideas of what such a thing might be. I posted a Jim Steranko page from Captain America #111. It was the first time I ever posted on an Ellis board.
But yeah, that doesn't mean he'll allow it here. -
Thanks for the heads up. I'll bet the Dredd panel was the great 'gaze into the fist of dredd!' That rocked.

Not at all wishing to invoke an arse-eeling (which, Warren, should be the name of your film production studio), but ... how is it anyone was shocked by ... what it is? I mean, we've all read the Master Storyteller's work, you people in the front row will get wet and all that.
I'm just happy to be alive. And frankly shocked that I still am. Well, the day is young. Anything can happen. -

Not sure if this belongs in the "How to use" thread, and I couldn't find it addressed on this one or that. I periodically see "I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners" over certain posts, and I'm curious. Is that something official, or is it just some weird Whitechapel meme thing?

i was wondering about the new novelists thread -- are people who have self-published excluded from posting there? i saw that some people with short stories and poetry have been given the go ahead and because the lead in talked about account suspension i don't want to get myself shot. my page is here if it helps to make a judgment me @ lulu

Long-time lurker here, who just started a blog devoted mostly to politics, although I'm sure I'll be writing about music and comics and all the other stuff I like. In any case, I have adopted this posting policy as my commenting policy, attributed properly, of course. Now, I just have to strike some sort of arse eel deal with you; you must get a bulk discount. -
As as sign of my self-professed noob-dom, can I just express my total disturbance re: Arse Eels?
Gives "Novelty Theory" a whole new meaning, methinks. -
