    I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
    I approve so much, it's just uncanny.

    These are easily the best rules I have run across on any forum. So much so, I thought I would join. Forums for the most part are a bit like dark alleys at 3 am, chances are you will be okay. But when things get bad, they get BAD fast. I just don't see that happening here. Either that or I am very new and naive and the smell of fresh blood is already in the water.....
    Unless I am eaten by sharks, I look forward to this. :)

    @Warren and Ariana ... at the risk of an arse eeling, I was wondering ... would there be room for a "Best of Whitechapel" thread? Kind of as an adjunct to "The Rules" and "How to use Whitechapel". It would be a place to house threads that worked, threads that didn't work and threads that never should have been created in the first place. You know, for new people to go through and see for themselves that we've had umpteen threads about "Your First Comic" or the various Zombie Apocalypse threads. Obviously, only you mods could add to it or it would quickly overflow, it'd kinda need to be watched and that would obviously create more work but it could be helpful for new people, introducing them to The Whitechapel Way of Doing Things (or indeed, Things We Do Not Do In Whitechapel). Would such a thing be possible or should I stop smoking those funny little cigarettes and get back to work?

    Go back to work and count yourself lucky there's no sealife following you.

    @ Warren - Just thought I'd ask, sir. Thanks for the quick response.

    I have just read through this thread 'completely' for the first time. Before I ever posted I read the first couple of pages. Now I have read the whole thread. The RULES are easy to understand, no complaints. Still there is more A-kissing in this thread than I am comfortable with. Maybe it's the price of fame and a damn good community online. Apologies if this is offensive, still I believe in a challenges to group think.

    I started my first thread about dreams. I am interested in seeing it continue despite a stopped thread in the past. I have read that thread now, it was stopped for a good reason. I perhaps do not post enough (so far)to direct that thread, though I will attempt to step up and read and post daily, maybe I should take responsibility for what I have started.

    I am looking for positive direction from the bosses here. I have started to identify with this community and will appreciate assitance in making this work.

    Hullo there,

    I was wondering if I could post a linky for an attempt at the U.K.'s first themed "halloween single," in the hope that it'll start a new tradition, like Christmas singles with "out" zombies. Proceeds go to charity.

    Linky

    It's doing well so far, beating preorders for last year's X Factor winner, which is something.

    Eh, sure -- but we've got a Halloween 2010 (what are you doing) thread already up (should be on or near the front page or you can search for it), where it might get a bit more attention that it would in its own thread.

    Are the Arse Eels supposed to be a dis-incentive?

    What does the [Sink] tag mean?

    Edit: Browsed through this thread and answered my own question.

    Request for a Legal Character Redraw thingy: Jenny Everywhere. Has she been done yet?
  6.  (5.353)
    I think we did her back on The Engine, I don't think we've done her here... so we're probably due, yes.

    How is the vile hugging thread inactive for 5 days when someone posted on it within the past 16 hours?

    ...so every time you post on the vile hugging thread an arse eel dies, which is why the Master hates it so.

    @ Warren
    I'VE TOLD YOU BEFORE ABOUT POSING WITH WEAPONS HERE.

    What is the rule about pictures with weapons? (I looked around but didnt't find one) I had posted one of me in uniform, armed, and didn't know it was a problem, I was going to post one from my upcoming training day exercises, but should I skip that?

    @Gov'tSp
    It's my fault. I collect knives. I was making a comment on being extra careful. But I was careless with a sharp blade and nicked myself. It was a before and after shot. I thought I had dreamt posting the images the first time.
    @Warren
    I apologize for my unintentional insensitivity. I do understand we play here by your rules.

    @Stsparky
    I know the comment was directed towards you, I guess I'm asking for clarification? Meaning, in one picture, I have a weapon holstered, and I guess that's okay? And somebody's FUCKRBEATR stick is okay, but would a pic from my training class where we're firing AR-15's be ok? Or an artsy pic with me and my Indiana Jones gun? Or is it that a few slipped through and it's Zero Tolerance? Before I post anything wepon related in the future, I want to understand the rules clearly, so I don't break the rule unintentionally.
