    Do song lyrics/poetry come under fiction?

    I have a strong suspicion of an oncoming Arse Eel attack...

    There's a lot of closed topics. Looks like Warren's cleaning his hovel again.

    End of the month. Time Of Clearing. Do not clutter this thread. Thank you.

    Noobish question:

    Warren, do you mind if we ask questions about you & your opinions/creative process? Would you ever feel like answering such questions?

    I swear that am not a fanboy, that I'm not going to tattoo anything you say or do on any part of me and that I am not a reporter, blogger wannabe or stalker. Nor do I think I'm the next you or that you owe me a damn thing.

    I've gotten so used to other forums that I forgot there is still "etiquette" in some places.

    I'll be on my best behavior. Thanks!

    @Warren or Ariana
    what's the ruling on posting a friend's works in the various art threads, she wants to contribute to the remake/remodel thread's et. al, but doesn't want to create an account as she would prefer to remain a lurker. She asked that I post them on her behalf, is this ok?

    I don't plan on taking credit for her work, as that's not a particularly friendly thing to do, and it would be a bit suspicious if I, who have never contributed to any art thread before, suddenly started posting amazing art.

    If it's not ok I understand though.

    Not really how it works, sorry. Will lead to all kinds of confusions.

    I figured as much, thanks for the response.

    Forgive my ignorance, but what does it mean when a thread title says "sink" at the beginning? I tried googling and found nothing...
  7.  (5.173)
    It means that the thread bores us and that it will now slowly slip away into the dark. You can still post to it, but it will still drop away, like a puppy with an anvil around its neck plummeting into a deep well.
  8.  (5.174)
    @racingpenguins as far as I'm aware, a "sink" thread won't get bumped to the top when people post a comment to it. It's for threads that aren't bad enough to be closed outright I guess?

    @Warren: Somehow, I fear that simile is based on fact, rather than imagination.

    @ Warren

    What about the Stewart/Cramer thread offended your eye to the point that it was closed?

    It bored me.

    @Warren

    Would it bother you if we, non-mods, wanted to start a weekly Newskrusher thread? Some of those who enjoyed it haven't done it because we didn't want to step on any toes or get any eels...
