    Most of the music I listen to makes me feel MORE like firebombing. However, if I need to "cool off" it's usually NIN's Ghosts, Eno's Music for Airports, or something else suitably mellow. Beck's middle albums usually soothe fairly well, also. And maybe Bright Eyes' I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning.

    Of course, if I'm liking the stabby feeling, I'll usually go with Acid Bath, Slayer, At the Gates, or Strapping Young Lad.

    I nearly forgot about Danzig. Really, I'd be fine with just Iggy and Danzig playing nonstop. Nothing wakes me up like Search and Destroy with a Five Finger Crawl chaser.

    For mellowing out that stabbity mood Accelerated Evolution by The Devin Townsend Band... Yes I am a fanboy and pimp for the Dev.

    Sometimes Emperor is good too. They tend to cover a wide range of emotion for me.

    Once Around the Block - Badly Drawn Boy never fails to cheer me up.

    But, if I want to blow off a little steam (don't tell anyone, guilty pleasure) there's nothing that beats the cheesy early aughts breakdown hardcore of Evergreen Terrace's Burned Alive by Time record. Good God I hate that I love it.
