    Neal's Yard

    Neal's Yard last Thursday. I'm really pleased with how it came out. Makes me realise that I am actually thinking about my photos alot more, and that is showing.

    I haven't done enough photography recently. Are there other Austinites on here who want to meet up for photo walks some weekend?

    Tried to grab some texture shots in an abandoned fortification. Had to go by flashlight, but some turned out ok.

    Also rust and torn off butterfly wings for your gothy needs.

    A couple of shots I'm happy with. From my Flickr account;

    Little light

    Both were shot with a Mamiya c220f.

    A friend of ours, Sonia has some great photos, imo.
    I'll post a few samples here - if you like them, don't hesitate to visit her deviantart gallery.

    I enjoy taking pictures.

    Total amateur here. Some random pics that I hope don't suck are at my flickr page.
    I would love some feedback or criticism. Tell me I suck if you think it's true... or encourage me.

    A couple of weeks ago, I shot in a studio for the first time. Tonight I used a darkroom for the first time (and I could have stayed in there all night!). Here are four photos that came out of it.

    So those past three were part of what I call "Audiophile". This next one is an audio pirate...

    Twitpic makes you click on the thumbnail. I loved the way this came out. I figured I was going to get a shot of him going Godzilla on the pins, but instead he leaned up on the ball:

    William: My dad's old Nikon F. And the film was a 400ISO b/w I believe. Can't tell you the brand as we were just given it for the workshop.

    That explains the lovely grain. And a pal of mine swears by the Nikon F... well, when he's not lugging around some bit of large format gear.

    Previous career. 12 year vet of the industry. Bitter at contemporary art. Bored with digital. Miss cool, damp darkroom and knowing I'm spending hours in a chemical environment playing with light physics. Modern day alchemy. Not gonna post my stuff. Maybe next time.
