Agree that the next one should start "6 months later", (or 6 years earlier, but think we'll have to wait longer for the FreakOrigin).

I think a lot of people view their homes that way. I know I do. Or at least I realize it, now. First ep that actually hit me emotionally, this week. Great job, guys.
Not fantastically tired this week, for some reason. I think I'm finally going to start beating the whole "caffeine" thing for reals now. Can't handle it cold turkey, going to try weaning.
I sound like a fucking junkie. -

Least happening episode for some time, I thought; although this may be just because it's the penultimate chapter of volume 2, so is finishing "day one" quietly before the new sunrise...
Still enjoying it, though, and uneventful as this episode was, it still carries a dark foreboding somehow. -

ariana, i too am very tired this week. i have had problems with my throat prosthetic and have been unable to speak all week. life does go on but damn, sometimes it just sucks.
edit to add: paul, nice views in some of those pannels. i enjoyed viewing the goings on from your eye this episode.

I'm actually all for the slow burning pacing of this. The series has really grown on me since it started. I look forward to being able to buy a big fucking brick-like hardback tome when it's all finally done.
Some kind of omnibus edition TPB would serve this series very well.
Although I suspect I'll be waiting quite some time for that... -

I love how this episode answered some of those LITTLE questions we've been tossing around. Is Luke gonna be pissed, or pleased, or horny? Is Alice having any trouble while they're away? Is Arkady wearing underwear? Perfect delivery, by the way!
However, one tiny little question that's still not answered... where WAS Arkady's hand in that one panel in Episode 13? ;)
And I absolutely love the sibling-like relationship between KK and Connor. I love those two.
Are we one or two episodes away from the end?
EDIT: I just checked my email to find the Bad Signal saying it's the Penultimate episode :)
I hope it ends on a happy note again. -

Ahhhh...so all our bitching and speculations might actually influence the story?
Well... obviously not directly. It's not like Warren's going to take my asshat "suggestion" and toss it wholesale into the story, after all. However, people who communicate with each other can't help but influence each other to some degree. I remember that one of my very first posts on the old WEF asked whether there'd eventually be a Thunderbolts/Planetary crossover. My reply from Warren was a terse "No chance in Hell." And, indeed, there was no Thunderbolts/Planetary crossover. That said, Warren did end up doing a run on Thunderbolts a few years later.
Do I believe that Warren recalled that comment and decided to give Thunderbolts a chance based upon it? I do not. Do I believe that the comment was one snowflake in an avalanche of other situations that led to him deciding write the comic? I do. That isn't ego, it's reality. We live in a quantum universe. Everything affects everything else to a great or lesser degree. So, yes, I do believe that our comments, questions, etc. have an influence on Warren. How big or small that influence may be is something only Warren may be able to tell us. And if he chooses to say anything , it will probably be with an eye toward influencing us in some way.
