About 30 years ago my dream was to do comics....one of the projects I set myself was to adapt Micheal Moorcock's 'The Final Programme' to comic book form....sorting through a pile of old artwork rediscovered all my old artwork..scanned it, photoshopped the water stains off and re lettered it: Heeeeere's Jerry:
A cover I drew and designed for my webcomic's print edition. Rather satisfied with the current version.
(not posting it in the writer's thread as I'm still battling with the POD logistics and other stuff getting in the way of "fortune and fame". If that's a problem, I'll remove it from here.)
Here is my attempt at printing this weekend. It was done with linoleum. I made my own font for this. I have only made the letters necessary for this print. I hope to expand it to the whole alphabet one day.
Last night I stayed up way to late doing this scratch board tribute to one of the silver screen classics.
My last couple of pieces from the portrait thread, both featuring StSparky. The first one took me about 20 hours of fucking around with the details, the second pretty much painted itself in about 45 minutes.
