You're clearly a talented bloke yourself, so I appreciate that. I'd love to do some life drawing like you've been doing, but I've never managed to get around to it. Had the opportunity to do some in college, but I figured my time would be better spent in the pub. I was wrong. Cheers for the kind words.
This is for my "Coaster Portrait Project". Essentially, I find a funny candid photo of somebody, spend an hour or two drawing it out with whatever comes to hand (the stuff I did on my lunch break was mostly gel pens and sharpies ) ) and laminate it so they can use it as a very personalized coaster. They make great gifts because a little narcissist lurks in everybody ;) (plus - mostly free )
@ rotorvator - those are some seriously bad ass (and durable looking) sketchbooks! You've just now sold me one :D
It's a strange party game where you have a sticky note describing either a person, place or object and you try to guess what is based on reactions and answers to questions. I left it blank so he could write in whatever he wanted with a dry erase ;)
@ Paul Sizer - I feel a bit daft because I was there and I lost it but, can you direct me to the thread dealing with the four panel progression using the four given shapes? I would like to try it out. It looked really interesting and I want play with the big boys. (Mom says I have to be in when the streetlights come on though).
@ norther - that is fucking wicked! I found out there is a guy at my work (it's a big place) named Eric Odeggard, is that viking or what? I was surprised when I first met him cause he wasn't carrying an axe.
@ rotorvator - truly disturbing. What are they made of? Do you have to put the lotion on regularly?........Oh no, I knew I shouldn't have axed.
I'm gonna say a blanket "Fuck Yeah" to the thread since it would take too long to comment on individual pieces. There's some damn good work getting posted here.
