Added "God's Away On Business" by Tom Waits and "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong

And that concludes the third mix. Our Settlement Needs Women

I've started up the fourth one.

And just a thought, but perhaps we should go in to the spirit of the mix tape and have the general flow of each mix go well as opposed to a complete mix of music? Just a thought, since some of us know what it's like to be in to a particularly slow and dark mix of music only to have it interrupted by a quick paced rock synth-pop band. Just throwing that out there.

The music is still sounding amazing folks!

    @ OldHat

Well i´ve started the new mix with slow and eerie, but then adding a little bit of hope into it.

1: Fabio Frizzi - Introduzione, Paura, Liberazio (City of the Living Dead OST)
    2: Sígur Rós - Njósnavélin

Still holding off the bad stuff till later....

@oldhat hemm... he he he, ok ok ... my mistake, maybe that was the right track for the ending credits of the apocalypse movie ? next time i promise to try to catch the mix "feeling".
  4.  (5524.26)
Ok... slow building of a momentum... i added : "What do you go home to" by Explosions in the sky from the "All of a sudden i miss everyone" album

added 4. Doves - The Last Broadcast
and 5. Why? - A Sky For Shoeing Horses Under
  6.  (5524.30)
@oldhat no hurt feelings here ;) , but it was a good comment, the change of rhythm it´s little too sudden, it breaks a little the "feeling".
  7.  (5524.31)
Ok. I brought this one's pulse the rest of the way down, then tossed a hand-grenade in its face. It may want more than one more song to finish:

    06. One Mile North - Return to From Where We Came

    07. Sleater-Kinney - Faraway
  8.  (5524.32)
and one more added to complete the mix...

    8. Man In The Moon - Grinderman

The good thing about 8tracks is that all the tracks we upload stay on the server, so we could even switch songs between playlists and whatnot.
If you wanted to, you know.

    Mix 4 saved, pubbly-wubblied:

    I Look to the Sky

This one is great so far -- STILL ROOM TO GROW.

Number 4's theme came together nicely and I know there are plenty of other songs that would fit in, if anyone is so inclined. No reason these all have to be closed books!

New mix saved into the list on the original post.

I'm REALLY loving the flow for number 4 folks.
  10.  (5524.36)
@icelandbob thanks ! most of the song titles of Explosions could fit in a post apocalyptic remix, dont you think ? ... "first breath after coma"... "Catastrophe and the cure"...

Uploaded two new tracks, this ones were "Marzia" by Larsen and one creepy marvelous song: "Bells in Bergamo" by Kallikak family...

Also, a new mix was created but the only name that pops in my head was "Avoid the cities" ... any other ideas?

    added some more

Ennio Morricone - Humanity (The Thing OST): I know its used a lot but i still think its one of the best bits of music out there for a post apocalyptic wasteland

Saturday Night Holocaust (Dead Kennedys Cover) - Neurosis

Also arranged them into some form of flow so it sounds a little better together.

    @ Rafagadeviento

like you mix title. How about "Oh Shit! They´ve found us!"...
  11.  (5524.39)
We now have mix number 5 in the works...

    Avoid the Cities...

The mix begins slow and tense ending with a stark warning of why you should avoid the city...
  12.  (5524.40)
so i´ve added a few more for a NEW mix...

    1. riz ortolani - cannibal holocaust (Main theme)
    2. Answer - Siglo XX
    3. Sonic Youth - Theresa's Sound World

    Let the despair continue...
