    I can't believe it.
His photography showed me the beauty of a side of the world I never even knew existed, I'm grateful to have seen it.
    Whitechapel will miss him.

This is really horrible, I admired his photos a lot. I'll miss him.

Wow, that sucks, I'd hoped to meet up and go shooting photos sometime soon with him.

EDIT: Fuck, fuck, fuck. Reading the report, those tunnels are just a few blocks away from me, he'd been itching to get in and photograph them since seeing them frozen up this winter(I believe this would be the drain, in fact), and I'd hoped to meet up with him when he was doing so. Had I known he was going there and I wasn't working, I may well have been involved in this too. Will have to see if I can find funeral info.

Oh my God. That is unbelieveably awful. His photos were amazing. He seemed like an amazing person. Rest in peace.

Very sad news. I admired and was fascinated by his photographs and always impressed at how he had the spirit to go and explore the closed off and abandoned places.

They're always taking the good ones away. Obviously didn't know him beyond this board, but still; What a horrible loss for us all...

Jesus, he was on my Flickr feed. He was very talented and so prolific. What a shock. What a loss.

Christ, that's like being hit in the gut. His photography was amazing, and to think this happened while he was doing that makes me feel ill. RIP.

I've enjoyed seeing his photos but never interacted with him here or elsewhere, I'd like to add my name to show his friends and family how far these things reach. All the best to those who knew him better.

He took some amazing pictures from what I've seen. Even though this really shows how horrible and random death can be, I at least feel like he added a lot more to the world than most before he left it, and he died doing something he loved. I should wish to go out in a similar manner.

I hope he finds peace, if it's what he was looking for.
