That's even better when you stream whitechapel radio over it.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
Can anyone come up with something to say?

I laughed for awhile but then opted for sanity. Also, I was scared it was working on dog frequencies and would wake up the neighbors.

I have been on the WC chat for some of the week. It's very, very enjoyable, there's some incredibly interesting and intelligent people there. Not to mention it's funny as all fuck, the things we talk about. Raccoon testicles, for example, and no I'm not joking. Someone wrote it, and you showed up there, Warren. So now, every time we write Raccoon Testicles, the chat goes silent waiting for you to show up. It's quite frightening.

    Andre,

It was me or Roo, I think, who wrote it first, and Roo decided it summoned Warren when he showed up.

    Yup.

In our defense we were talking about Pom Poko.

    I hope we were anyway.

    We were right?

I double dare you to listen to several windows open at once. Staggered, of course. There's a lower pitched version too, for those of you who want harmony. The higher pitched version is done in Vocaloid 2, which is a pretty neat program.

Can't be arsed to see if the subject ever came up, but why hasn't this Open Mike thing been transplanted to the Market? It's not like a real-time chat hasn't been instituted before, right? But maybe a one-to-one interaction with the Vast Unwashed Hoard would be fun for all and sundry....

I'm gonna go see right now...

We went looking for a house this afternoon in Pacific Palisades. That's just up the coast in Los Angles from Santa Monica. It's amazing how little home $1.7 million dollars will buy up there.

You can hike close and be swimming in the Pacific in 5 minutes, though. That's all I give a shit about. And the schools are great, so that takes care of the ball and chain's requirements.

Spiral, someone more creative and capable than I am needs to do a chicken mashup. I'm not sure what the other song would be though.

This morning I wrote a bit for a graphic novel I hope to publish on the web later this year. Played too much World of Warcraft. Brewing some coffee for another stab at the writing. I have work off tomorrow, so hopefully I can build some momentum up.

Anyone ever notice how Bukowski and Spider Jerusalem share the same social energy? Like somewhere in the netherworld they could be stepbrothers?

Okay, I'm feeling a bit odd now, noone is speaking (writing). Anyway, just returned from the poetry radio show. Was a blast. Too revved up to relax.

Busy night leading from a busy weekend. Scripts were due for the CBT project, so I've been reviewing those, giving feedback, etc. in-between doing art/pages for Displaced Persons, and on smoke breaks I've been blocking out the page actions for all three issues of the new Shadowline-published superhero miniseries being drawn by Matthew Humphreys.

I've got a list of shit a mile long to do, and roughly 3-4 months to do it all, and shockingly, I'm not that stressed out about it.

The one thing that IS kinda stressing me out is 'secret project X', which if it goes, will change my life pretty significantly in terms of what I am doing. If it doesn't, I will be very very very dissapointed... so, lighting little bonfires under people's asses to get movement on that.

Far cry from this time last year, that's for damn sure.

And since the wife took the younger 3 down to the SD area for part of the weekend to see their cousin and their Uncle, I decided that it was time to take the eldest to her first sushi experience. I've created a monster, she wants to know when we can go again...

Sushi fucking rocks. Yes. Yes, it does indeed.

Whitechapel is getting waaay too much traffic to be sanely tracked by an RSS feed, even after a couple of hours. After one day when it opened, there were maybe 100-some posts to read. Now? When I leave the feed alone for a couple days, I come back and there are over 1000 posts.

    Over 1000.

    You're creating a monster, Warren. It's awesome.

That's awesome, concerning the sushi experience! And crossing my fingers for you on the secret project. :)

I've been lazy with my artistic talents for the past few years, but I went to the Nashville chapter of Dr. Sketchy's yesterday and I was suprised to see that I still had a bit of it still left in my hands somewhere. I wish I had known earlier that burlesque and booze would be just the thing to get me out of my lull.

Self Portrait with Pentagrams by Eric Millikin

Finally calling this painting done. I think I've been working on it for months. It's the beginning of my new paranormal romance partially inspired by the works of Steven Seagal.
