We're going to launch one of these threads a month. And down the months and years, we'll build up not only a mugshot parade of the Whitechapel crew -- but also, for those who choose to participate monthly, there'll be a record of how we all change and grow (and in my case age horribly).

Obviously, I encourage participation from everyone, even if you're just joining the place. This thread is certainly not just for the old lags.

So. Take a photo of yourself and post it (if you're not sure how -- you put a photo on the web somewhere, a free hosting site like Flickr or Photobucket or your LJ gallery if you use LJ -- Blogger image hosting won't work -- and click the "img" button above to put the address of the image in, the http://) here.

I'll get to mine once I'm, you know... piss off, I'm busy...

Lazy days, grainy couch photo style.

Bought all three volumes of Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse recently and have decided I want to marry Ben Templesmith.
But considering over the years I've wanted to marry Alan Alda, Luca Zingaretti and Ron Perlman and haven't gotten around to it he's probably pretty safe.
Wormwood is still insanely pretty though.

Here's me last week in NYC at Bangkok House, a very excellent Thai restaurant near Times Square that actually will take our massive student group each year. In past years, to say "Thanks for daring to take our swarm of students", I've drawn them a picture during dinner, showing a waitress riding a giant prawn, Godzilla eating a bowl of pad thai, etc. And in past years, they've just taped these pictures up behind the cash register.

So this year, for whatever reason, they have framed all my drawings and given me my own "Wall of Sizer" in the restaurant, which is just bizarre, but very nice. So, if you look in the background, you can see my past drawings, and this year's two new drawings. Fame is such a burden, but I try to wear it well. Don't I look like some kind of giant comic ogre next to these tiny women?

I'm not arty enough to have a self-portrait so here's a photo from last night. By this point I'd consumed 3 glasses of wine and was fairly tipsy. Went to see Jay Brannan at London's Bush Hall (he's a musician and was in the film "Shortbus" which EVERYONE should watch!!). Afterwards we went on to Reptile (goth/industrial club at The Minories near the Tower of London) and consumed more alcohol in the form of tequila. Fun was had by all. Headaches are being had by me currently.

Ok I have been out of the loop for quite a bit, but I was headed towards my college degree. A very marvelous 10 days(including a weekend in marvelous Seattle and a 23rd birthday) concluded yesterday with a strut across the stage.

Now, here is the real important part. Bo Jackson delivered my commencement speech. He then stood and shook hands with all of the grads as they walked across stage. I became a trendsetter.

Completely sidestepping the request for naked photos because I wouldn't want to get sued for any mental issues that would result from seeing me without clothing, I bring you some tips about wounds on your fingers.

Knees? Injuries?

This weekend I was practicing what in Parkour is termed "bar ballet" where you do a bunch of intricate movements between, over, through, and under sets of railings (like at the 0:36 mark of this video. These are actually the railings I was working on, and the person in the video is Janine, whom I train with - she's been doing it for years longer and is far better than I am).

I caught my knee on a bar and caught myself with a hand on the other bar. Epic back muscles FTW. But my knee is actually bruised through, which is new and interesting:

But my hair is fucking rad, so that's ok.

This was taken after a corporate function in New Orleans (conservative Japanese company). We were the only ones tipping at an open bar, and the Maker's Mark went from a 1 second pour to most of a pint glass. I was having difficulty keeping the cigar in my mouth.

And then there's this, which has a story. My favorite girl in the world was kidnapped from my home. On February 13th, 2007, the police called me to say that she had been found and recovered without a scratch on her. So, of course, when I picked her up on Valentine's Day, the second we got home, we made sweet, passionate love for hours on end. You can tell she's about to get a spanking in this shot.

I was inadvertently reunited at my current band Deathline's gig in London on Thursday with two members of my old band, the notorious tranny punks, Six Inch Killaz. We split in 1999, ten years ago almost to the day. I see Simon / Mona (on the left) a lot - we're close friends still, but Luis on the right I haven't seen since we split. But the three of us hit off again like no time had passed at all. It was a happy night. That's me in the middle btw, sweating just after coming off stage and in off duty tranny mode again.
